Privacy Policy

MathMatrix is a times-tables game for children, made by Toasty AS in Norway (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to information when your child uses the app. The short version: MathMatrix collects no data.
No data collection
The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There are no accounts and no sign-in. There is no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code that does any of these things. The app never connects to the internet.
What stays on the device
To work, the app saves the following on the device itself:
- the name or nickname a child types for their profile (optional)
- how their math buddy looks, and the items they have unlocked with stars
- their stars and learning progress: which facts they have practised, right and wrong answers, how quickly they answered, and when each fact is due for practice again
- settings such as sound, haptics, language, reduced motion and boss-fight pace
This information never leaves the device, except as part of the device’s own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple handles according to your Apple Account settings. We cannot access it.
Deleting data
In the app’s Settings, Reset clears a child’s progress, and Delete profile (shown when there is more than one profile) removes a child completely. Deleting the app removes all of its data from the device.
Children’s privacy
MathMatrix is made for children and is offered in the App Store’s Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected, there is nothing for us to view, correct or delete: parents stay in control of everything on the device. The app contains no links out of the app, no purchases and no ads.
If you contact us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and we delete the conversation when it is no longer needed. You can contact us at any time to have it deleted sooner. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; in Norway that is Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
Changes
If a future version of the app changes how it handles information, we will update this policy, and the date above, before that version is released.
