Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 October 2026

The basics

These terms apply to the MathMatrix app, made by Toasty AS in Norway. When you get MathMatrix from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA) applies. These terms add to it; they do not replace it.

Your licence

You may use MathMatrix for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store’s usage rules, including Family Sharing.

For parents and guardians

MathMatrix is designed for children. A parent or guardian should set up the app and decide how it is used.

Ownership

The app, including its characters (the number bosses and the math buddies), artwork, sounds and code, belongs to Toasty AS. Please don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute any part of it, except where the law allows you to.

A learning aid

We work hard to make MathMatrix accurate and helpful, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will be free of errors or suit every child. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Your progress

A child’s progress is stored only on the device (see the Privacy Policy). If a device is lost or reset without a backup, we cannot recover the progress.

Price and purchases

MathMatrix may be free or paid, and the price may change. All payments and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store.

Changes and law

We may update these terms when the app changes; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
