Who is MathMatrix for?
Children learning the times tables from 1×1 to 10×10, roughly ages 6 to 10.
How does it work?
Each day’s game is a short round of multiple-choice questions. The app keeps track of every fact and brings back the ones that need more practice, a method called spaced repetition. When a child knows a fact by heart, it becomes a heart gem in the 10×10 grid. When a whole table is learned, its number boss unlocks.
What are the boss fights?
A mini-game for tables a child already knows: the boss throws questions and the child types the answers before they land. Win with no more than one miss and you steal the boss’s crown. Boss fights are the only part of the app with a time limit. If they feel too fast, turn on Calm boss fights or Relaxed pace in boss fights in Settings.
Can several children use the same device?
Yes. Up to four children can each have their own profile, buddy and progress. Add and switch profiles in Settings.
How do I change the language?
Open Settings and use Select language to choose English or Norsk.
How do I reset or delete a child’s progress?
In Settings, Reset this child’s progress starts that child over, and Delete profile removes the child completely (it appears when there is more than one profile).
Will progress move to a new iPhone or iPad?
Progress is stored on the device and included in its normal iCloud or computer backup. Restoring that backup onto a new device brings the progress along. There is no account or online sync.
Does it need the internet? Are there ads or purchases?
No. MathMatrix works fully offline and has no ads, no in-app purchases and no tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
